Yes, according to the sound clip Dave posted, Ms. Maude had the plate made at a jewelers in Richmond. I agree with Jim. I think the plate is now considered historic and adds to the value and provenance.

Love it! Not to get too basic, but... Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo, and Herbert Hoover were patients of Dr. L, I belive.

Dr Lattimer also told me that he also had Katheryn Hepburn as a patient.

Hepburn's mother was a Powell from Alexandria, Virginia and distantly related to Lew Powell's father.
