I had pre-ordered Tom Bogar’s book back in April, and it arrived this afternoon.
Laurie, I hope this makes you feel good on your birthday!
In the Acknowledgments Tom writes, “The limitless dedication and shrewd insights to the assassination provided by members of the Surratt Society and through its publications and conferences, particularly the efforts of Laurie Verge, indefatigable director of the Surratt House Museum, with its superb research library, have guided much of my thinking and enriched my research and writing.”
