I've had a little difficulty finding prices - as I'm at work; but I did find this one reference -
"In America, by 1851 a broadside by daguerreotypist Augustus Washington was advertising prices ranging from 50 cents to $10.[21] However, daguerreotypes were fragile and difficult to copy. Photographers encouraged chemists to refine the process of making many copies cheaply, which eventually led them back to Talbot's process."

Another reference stated that CDVs could cost anything from $1.00 to $5.00 (almost a week's pay!)

Looking at the picture- Booth looks contorted almost in his stance. Never paid attention to it before.

I thought the exact same thing Bill. His legs did not seem bow-legged because that is usually a condition from the knee down, but what you can see almost looks like his legs are "sway-back" -- can't think of any other term.
