Sounds like his book is an interesting read. I know nothing about MLK’s killer other than his name.
I also noted that his interest in Lincoln was sparked by a gift he received as a boy. This is a reminder that we never really know what might plant a seed of enthusiasm in a young child’s mind.
This is why history must not be ignored.

Amen, Bill! Just yesterday, we had a mother come into the Surratt House gift shop looking for specific stocking stuffers. She and her young son had been on tour at the museum several weeks ago, and there were certain items in the gift shop that he was interested in. She was back to get those things - all history related - for him. Let's hope that the tour and the gifts plant a history seed in that young man.
Laurie: I love it!
